There is always a light

There is always a light
Don't be afraid if you are alone or surrounded by darkness. In some part of the world, the day has just begun. There is a always a light waiting for you to find your way to touch its radiance.

Pilgrim of the Sky!

By Prodipto Roy

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

How often in life do we stand at that edge and question our ability to take that flight that puts us beyond  and above everyone else? Most importantly, how often do we doubt our potentials of a safe landing, lest the wind changes direction or a storm brews across the horizon? How often do we spread our wings till the final moment of stretch where nothing and no one can stop us from soaring and floating with the universal nothingness of freedom? Why don't you take a step back and think today....and let that retreat be a self assessment and a warm up for your first flight?

  1. Sometimes things happen in life when all the stars seemed misaligned , when nothing seems to be going right and you are forced to step out of your comfort zone and push yourself against all that you know to be safe and sure. It is not easy, and yet when you have taken that blind leap of faith and run blindly into that dark tunnel, it is not too bad, no matter when the light appears or doesn't appear, you know you dared to do something different, you know you dared to live...
